Never shy on a microphone, Kara loves engaging with her audience and getting them on their feet. She has an incredible ability to connect with people of all ages. It’s all about YOU… whether you want to sing or just sit back and watch, Kara will make sure you have the time of your life!

Let’s get to know Kara just a little more…

When did you first start singing at karaoke?
2 years old on grandma’s 8-track karaoke machine.  I was sure every family had one of these things!

What is the best part about hosting karaoke?
I love when the shy kid or adult gets up to sing – that person who has never sung before – and after their song you just see them glowing with confidence!

If you could sing karaoke with any celebrity who would it be and what song would you do?
Steve Perry from Journey… definitely singing “Separate Ways”

Favorite karaoke moment while hosting?
Once a party starts I like to go around and introduce myself to as many people as possible so that they feel more comfortable singing.  I met this man who told me he had never done karaoke but he loved to sing. I asked him to sing a duet with me and afterward several people from his family told me that he is autistic and he’s never gotten up in front of a crowd. I felt so honored to make him feel that comfortable to sing to all of his family and people he didn’t even know.

How much time do you have?? Some of my favorites are “Separate Ways” by Journey, “Don’t Stop Me Now” by Queen and “Cryin“ by Aerosmith.

DEBRALEE (Watch her in action!)

A fabulous force of fun, Debralee was born to be behind a mic. She might be leading a group in a sing-a-long or getting the kids on their feet with an activity… so, you can just enjoy the show! By the end of the night your cheeks might be sore from too much singing and smiling!

Let’s get to know Debralee just a little more…

When did you first start singing at karaoke?
I first started singing karaoke around the age of 7 yrs old. My dad was in the military and he was stationed in Japan for a year and brought back a karaoke machine for the family. It was wonderful!

What is the best part about hosting karaoke?
The best part about hosting karaoke is witnessing the happiness people get out of singing a song and watching others join in on the fun!

If you could sing karaoke with any celebrity who would it be and what song would you do?
If I could sing karaoke with a celebrity it would be Celine Dion and the duet, “Tell Him”.

Favorite karaoke moment while hosting?
One of my favorite karaoke moments while hosting was watching a group of 11 yr old boys singing their hearts out to Journey's "Don't Stop Believing"! Their enthusiasm and commitment to the song was incredible!

Karaoke go to?
My karaoke go to - Whitney Houston's “I Wanna Dance with Somebody”.

LAURA (Watch her in action!)

Outgoing and a powerhouse vocalist, Laura knows how to get the crowd pumped up! Her warm and friendly nature encourages even the most hesitant of singers. She makes everyone feel at ease and like a star on the stage! No one can sing just once when Laura’s at the mic!

When did you first start singing at karaoke?
I was 12 years old… at a local spring fair and there was a karaoke booth. I even got a souvenir VHS of the performance!

What is the best part about hosting karaoke?
I love seeing people sing who are totally into the performance aspect of the song. They have so much fun and I can tell they just love to sing. The crowd really responds to singers who get lost in the moment. When everyone in the bar is rocking along with a singer, that’s a great night!

If you could sing karaoke with any celebrity who would it be and what song would you do?
Gotta be James Corden for some Carpool Karaoke! I think he’s a great singer and so funny - plus he’s sung with some of the best. I feel like we would be rocking out some “Hot in Herre” by Nelly as a tribute to my hometown.

Favorite karaoke moment while hosting?
Its gotta be when these two guys got up who seemed pretty shy. They sang “Roses” by Outkast which is actually a pretty challenging song and they just knocked it out of the park. The whole bar was singing along with them. They were just amazing. I love it when people surprise you like that and rock it out!

Karaoke go to?
It’s usually a Lady Gaga (maybe “Million Reasons”) or Adele, but I also rock some “Me and Bobby McGee” by Janis Joplin.

SARAH (Watch her in action!)

Bright and full of energy, Sarah, who in her past life was a professional clown, knows how to get a crowd excited with her bubbly personality and charm. An instant hit with kids (and adults) of all ages, she'll inspire everyone in the room to get up and grab a mic!

Let’s get to know Sarah just a little more…

When did you first start singing at karaoke?
On my 8th birthday, I got a karaoke machine along with the Shania Twain CD Come On Over. I sang “Honey, I’m Home“ and “Don’t Be Stupid” every night before I went to bed for a straight month. Mom and Dad had no idea what they were in for.

What is the best part about hosting karaoke?
I love watching people come together and develop new friendships and lasting memories through a song. I grew up in Nashville and was exposed to music at an early age. I think karaoke is one of the best ways to bring people together and it’s a joy to witness every time.

If you could sing karaoke with any celebrity who would it be and what song would you do?
Ellen DeGeneres hands down! We would bond over our dance moves instantly. I feel like we would give quite a performance to “Summer Nights” from Grease.

Favorite karaoke moment while hosting?
I hosted a kid’s birthday party once where the two most passionate performers were two-year-old twin boys. I laughed so hard watching the toddlers who couldn’t even read yet have such a passion for music. They were singing on the dance floor the entire time!

Since I’m a child of the 90s, “I Want it That Way” by Backstreet Boys, “No Scrubs” by TLC, and “That Don’t Impress Me Much” by Shania Twain will never get old to me. Oh, and I love “Wagon Wheel” by Old Crow Medicine Show.
